Wildcats Have Successful September
On September 1, the Eastern Guilford Wildcats took on Raleigh Broughton. This game would be a good test for the Wildcats, for Broughton is a very high scoring team who has averaged 46 points for their past 2 undefeated games. The Wildcats have won their past 2 games but has still yet to put away a team by a good amount of points but the Wildcats defense was the real inficese for this game. For the wildcats defense stopped Broughton from scoring the whole game and the wildcats offense produced because of it. Starting off with sophomore Nick Chillie will a 40 yard touchdown pass from Bryant Barr.
Then came two side play maker James Artis with a 36 yard touchdown from from Donmonquie Grave. But that wasn't it for graves for that night for he ran two touchdowns himself and handed a 2 yard touchdown to Zion Walker. Even though the wildcats had two turnovers they seemed to get them right back with help from Chrition Golston who caught a nice tipped interception. This win makes the wildcats 3-0 which hasn't been done since 2013 when they went 6-0 until injuries and overloaded schedules took it's toll on the Wildcats. But this year the Wildcats have enough skill to do even better so let see what they got.
