Wildcat Football Update!

Coming off of a 15-1 season, and being the runner-up for the state championship, the football team has a lot to live up to. Coach Rob makes sure not to compare us to the previous team, or bring up the past season. But of course as football players we may tend to dawn on the past. The lost really hit us hard but we have to focus on getting better. Right now we’re 5-2. Personally I feel like we should be 7-0. Our first lost was against Page High School, which was a tough battle and unfortunately we came up short.

The week after we played Smith High School. I personally feel like we lost this game because we underestimated them. We were definitely the better team but we had the wring attitude. Also we were still down from the previous loss. Now the team is back on track, and we have to continue to get better. Homecoming is coming up, and we play Asheboro. Practice on homecoming week may be a little chaotic because of all the excitement.

As long as we stay focused we should come out with an easy win. We will continue winning all the way to the playoffs and take home the title this year.
