Two buses involved in a collision at a local High School
Students at Eastern Guilford High School who have a ride or drive to school should more grateful than ever for the fact that they don’t ride the bus.
Around 4pm on Tuesday afternoon two buses were involved in a collision in the bus parking lot of the school. According to students one bus had close to the maximum capacity for students, while the other only had a few students. Two students were treated for minor injuries by paramedics at the scene.
There is currently no information on what caused the crash.
This incident is just another blow to transportation situation at the school. Eastern Guilford which currently has around 1400 students enrolled in the high school alone, is suffering from a shortage of bus drivers and transportation workers. Most of the school’s students ride the bus which cause there to be overcrowding on the buses.
