First week of the 2018 school yea

Welcome back wildcats! I hope everyone had a great summer. It's time for a new school year! For some students this time of the year can be very stressful but for others it can be very exciting. New teachers, new classes, new students, and for some even a new school. I took the time to interview some of the students at EG from different grade levels to see how their first week was.

Here are some comments from the interview:

Freshmen:

Paw Print: How was your first week of high school?

Madison Murphy:” It was not what I expected it to be. I am happy what it did turn out to be. It’s been pretty good week.”

Tell me what your first week has been like.

Jamina Docker: “My first week is going really well. Ive made lots of new friends. I just moved to this school so I didn’t know anyone but I like it so far.”

Sophomores:

How was your first week back?

Victoria Cook: “My first week was really good. I like all my classes. My teachers are good so I’m ready for a good year.

How is your first week of sophomore year going?

Kaylani Decrow: “My teachers are okay. School is quite boring and I don’t like waking up early. I miss summer“.

Juniors:

How has your first week back been?

Sydney Mark: “My first week was okay. My lunch got switched and I don’t like that. Now I have 3rd lunch. My teachers are cool for the most part.”

How is your first week going?

Tyra Burch: School is going great so far. I like all my teachers because they challenge me to do better. I think this will be a good year.”

Seniors:

How was your first week of school? What are you looking forward to this year?

Latrell Brown: “I like all my teachers. I’m looking forward to the learning process and making honor roll”

How was your first week of senior year?

Matthew Wolford:” My first week of school has been good. I have made many new friends and football is a good experience. My classes are pretty easy.”
